Seminars
Within Bioinstitut projects we ensure sufficient
information for successful and competitive organic
farming management, to increase public awareness of its benefits and advantages and thus contribute to its general development in the Czech Republic. We elaborated methods for growing, breeding and processing in many product areas, and through seminars connected with practical demonstrations. We provide
grants to model farms for the establishment of information
points; we distribute information and educational material
and hold 
seminars for farmers, 
advisers, representatives of state administration,
students and the public. We always try to hold these events directly on organic farms and we help them to create their own
information and education sites. Over 350 people took
part in our seminars in 2009, a fact which we appreciate and
comprehend as appreciation of our efforts to prepare
an interesting programme and invite professional
lecturers.
Information centre
Bioinstitut Information centre is a memeber of the agro-envi advisory and information web in the Czech republic.
- Agro-environmental information: possibilities, subsidies, preparation for inspection, farm management plans in relation to nature protection
- Organic agriculture: plans of conversion to organic farming, promotion and marketing.
- Organic food: production, marketing, promotion, sales, information for consumers of organic food.
Information pages in magazine
In a regular section of the nation-wide “Biomesícník“ monthly magazine we provide information on organic farming and biodiversity and inform readers about experience of organic farming and related issues abroad. Approximately 6000 copies a month are printed.
